These two won the competitions for best five minute sketch, and best sketch of the night models choice. The one in markette was drawn in 20 minutes and colored with prisma color sticks.

Elliott Smith

Drawn with red ball point pen back in 08. I had a job with the kgb (phone service) not the Russian mob..haha. And I would literally have hours a day to do nothing. So I started drawing. One time I could only get a red ball point pen to draw with and I sketched up a few like this one. Ball point gives you such a versatile range of tones that allows you to draw just about anything. Using pen also kept my eye sharp because you cant make any mistakes. And they're dirt cheap of course. Fun stuff.

KEMO!

Of KEMO for a caricature exchange.Using my favorite media by default (Because I work at Kaman's) Markette marker and prisma color sticks. I was digging thru my drawer and happened to find an unused marker that must have been years old. This thing actually bleeds! they don't make the markettes like that anymore.
