There are a few things wrong, I know. The eyes are a little bigger than they needed to be and the brows are a little too thick I think, but it took a damn long time so here it is.

Elliott Smith

Elliott Smith is a great folk rock singer who committed suicide in 2004 by stabbing himself twice in the chest. (or heart)
He's a musical great and i'd suggest to listen to his "XO" album.
The music is a little sad for most peoples taste but if you're not bothered by that you should look him up sometime.

Obama, Kramer

I drew Barack just after he was elected and Kramer for fun sometime before that. I'd like to draw him a few more times tho, he's got such a cool face.

I'm really trying to focus on getting things right the first time by using a pen to draw, but it ends up getting frustrating because sometimes my light sources gets toned down, and the value is never too dark, (since it's red i guess)or I miss the shape and it doesnt finish up clean.

I've also noticed how much less im exaggerating in turn for the realistic rendering.
Which I hate because it keeps me too hesitant.

I'll try to keep working around all that since I do these at work. It allows 8 hours a day almost to practice.

Anyway... the John C. Reiley and C. Rice were my first red inked sketches and they turned out to my liking, and I like the light source on Micheal Cera too.
So have at em.

Sketch book stuff

Sorry this took so long everyone.
These are a couple of sketches from my sketch book.

I used a red and black ball point pen, It worked out fairly clean.

I just wish I would color more often before I forget everything.

I've got lots of stuff in that book, so new posts comin very soon! (for a change)

never go to texas tubes

two days ago i went to Texas tubes and payed for a few things with a 100 dollars and didn't get my change back
when i talked to the manager, he had nothing to tell me..
then i talked to the owner, and he insulted me and called me a liar.
it seemed as thou he'd rather stick up for his employee than his customer.

55 dollars was stolen from me, and they didn't do anything about it.
tubing is awesome. but NEVER go to Texas tubes. (tell everyone)

the drummer kid didn't like it because he kept getting laughed at (even thought its not that funny) the dad didn't like it because i wouldn't add more yellow, then hated me for making him buy a tube...but his mom thought it was great.
so odd...

but the other kid was awesome, my gf says he looks like Johnathan Taylor Thomas, idk who that is.
